BMW is engaged with a research project namely simTD. This stands for the Safe Intelligent Mobility and will be tested in Germany. A part of the project is the Car-to-X communication technology. As the title suggests, the technology would be connected to the outer world and would be able to communicate with it as well. The research is going to be helpful while the driver will be able to look farther. You can even see the hidden things and also would be told about what is around the corners.
